Altium does not have a defined "graduate program", but rather recruits graduates directly into roles where they can develop expertise in their area of interest. When you first commence employment with Altium, you may be given a mix of formal and "on-the-job" training, depending on your role. After your initial training, development will primarily happen on-the-job as you work alongside more senior members of your team, learning and sharing in their skills and expertise. We aim to develop our graduates on-the-job by providing them with challenges to stretch their skills, but at the same time we ensure there is support from more experienced members of the team. At present, most graduate positions will be located at our Corporate Head Office in Sydney, Australia. However, there are opportunities at other Altium offices. As the business expands and gains a greater presence in overseas markets, there may be possibilities for overseas travel in the future. We do not have a set closing date for graduate applications. The graduate selection process commences with an initial screen of all applicants. Candidates who are successful at this stage of the selection process will then be invited to participate in an interview process, usually consisting of 2 to 3 stages. Applicants for Software Development positions would also be asked to complete a technical problem-solving test. All applicants will be advised of the status of their application.
