With the NanoBoard NB2 and the NanoBoard 3000 series, peripherals available to the host FPGA are delivered on removable 
peripheral boards, providing a simple and cost-effective method for rapid prototyping of hardware concepts.
The NanoBoard 3000 can accommodate a single peripheral board (not included). The NanoBoard NB2 caters for the use of up to three peripheral boards, and is delivered with the following standard peripheral boards (also available separately):
- Audio-Video peripheral board
- Memory Cards/ATA Interface peripheral board
- Ethernet/USB/IrDA peripheral board

Peripheral boards continue to be developed by Altium, making it easy to evaluate new and alternate technology options, such as wireless networking. Alternatively, build your own peripheral board for your specific production applications, giving you the ultimate flexibility to develop, implement and debug your design.
